Goode for nothing

Anybody who’s been in Philadelphia for a while, and even those in other parts of the world, is all too familiar with how completely inept W. Wilson Goode was as mayor of the City of Brotherly Love during most of the 1980s. Most notable, of course, was the MOVE disaster in 1985.
The former mayor is now an ordained Baptist minister who presumably doesn’t have a racist bone in his body. Sadly, though, the same cannot be said for his son, Philadelphia Councilman at-large W. Wilson Goode Jr., and the councilman’s legislative aide, Latrice Bryant.
The dynamic duo are upset that Fox29 investigative reporter Jeff Cole has been probing allegations that Bryant isn’t working all of the hours for which she is paid $90,000 a year by the taxpayers.
"Don’t you ever disrespect a black woman like that again," Goode told Cole during a confrontation in City Hall last Thursday. During Council’s first post-summer meeting later that day, Bryant held up handmade signs charging Fox29 are racist, and Jeff Cole KKK.
Ladies and gentlemen, if it’s politically incorrect to point out that Goode and the Ninety Thousand Dollar Woman are a couple of black racists, so be it. Their behavior is reprehensible and sickening.
Unless Jeff Cole is a member of the Ku Klux Klan, he and Fox29 should sue Bryant for libel, slander and defamation of character. Bryant, Goode and any other participant should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law if they are scamming the taxpayers. When it comes to corruption, skin color should be irrelevant. Corruption gives government a black eye. Period.
Councilman W. Wilson Goode Jr., you are a disgrace to the human race. You should resign immediately and allow the people to be served by somebody who at least pretends to be colorblind. ••
