May 27 through June 9

As reported by Northeast Detectives. Does not include homicides, sexual assaults, narcotics offenses or other specific crimes investigated by special police units. All locations listed by block, not by exact address.

2nd Police District

There were nine robberies, most of which targeted private residences or retail locations. Robberies on the street took place at 5400 Bingham St. (May 30) and 500 Magee Ave. (June 4), which involved handguns, and 6100 Rising Sun Ave. (May 31) and 5800 Roosevelt Blvd. (June 9), which did not involve weapons. Robberies at chain stores took place at 2100 Cottman Ave. (June 7) and 6600 Rising Sun Ave. (June 7), which involved handguns, and 2100 Cottman Ave. (June 8) and 7900 Roosevelt Blvd. (June 9), which did not involve weapons. A robbery also took place at a private residence at 6700 Oakland St. (June 8) and involved a handgun.

There were seven aggravated assaults that yielded three arrests. Angel Moreta, 18, was arrested following an assault involving a knife at a private residence at 7100 Akron St. (May 30); Jay Wilson, 45, was arrested following an assault involving a knife at a private residence at 2000 Hartel Ave. (June 5); and Shawntane Brown, 48, was arrested following an assault at a private residence at 6000 Shissler St. (June 7). Other assaults took place on the street at 6300 Castor Ave. (June 6) and 6100 Hasbrook Ave. (June 6), at a private residence at 1200 Gilham St. (June 3) and a retail location at 4600 Roosevelt Blvd. (May 30).

There were nine burglaries. Walter Brown, 62, was arrested May 28 at a private residence at 500 Robbins St., and Fei Tang, 44, was arrested May 27 following a burglary at a retail store at 1900 Cottman Ave. Burglars targeted private residences at 2000 Glenview St. (May 28), 600 Van Kirk St. (June 3), 400 E. Cheltenham Ave. (June 8), 5900 Bingham St. (May 27), 2100 Tyson Ave. (June 1) and 700 Knorr St. (June 2), and an apartment house at 7600 Castor Ave. (May 28).

There were 103 thefts, which targeted 45 vehicles (including a stolen car phone and four stolen vehicle tags), 39 businesses, 11 street thefts, two private residences, two bicycles, two public schools, a hotel and a SEPTA commuter rail line. Seven arrests were made. In addition, 20 vehicles were reported stolen, 13 of which have been recovered.

7th Police District

There were three robberies, all of which took place on the street. These took place at 11200 Jeanes St. (June 3) and the intersection of Gifford Street and Tomlinson Road (June 3), both of which involved handguns, and 8600 Verree Road (June 4), which did not involve a weapon.

There were seven aggravated assaults, which resulted in three arrests. Assaults on the street took place twice at 10200 Bustleton Ave. (June 7, Aleksandre Chinchaladze, 40) involving a handgun, the intersection of Bustleton Avenue and Tomlinson Road (May 29) and 10000 Verree Road (June 9), which involved knives, and 9800 Bustleton Ave. (June 8), which did not involve a weapon. Other assaults took place at a private residence at 1900 Witler St. (June 2, Khalid Eid, 41) and an apartment house at 9500 Evans St. (June 5, Vladislav Ferdman, 38).

There were four burglaries and an attempt. Burglaries took place at apartment houses at 2000 Grant Ave. (June 4, David Tritt, 36) and 9900 Haldeman Ave. (May 27). A burglary at private residences took place at 2200 Bowler St. (May 27, Anthony Ihedirionye, 27) and an attempt happened at 1000 Bingham St. (May 28). A church at 14100 Worthington Road was burglarized June 6.

There were 31 thefts, which targeted eight businesses, eight street thefts, six vehicles (including a stolen vehicle tag), three private residences, two doctors’ offices, two bicycles, an apartment house and an unlisted location. Three arrests were made. In addition, two vehicles were stolen, one of which was recovered.

8th Police District

There were four robberies. Jeremiah Brookins, 38, was arrested May 27 following a robbery at an apartment house at 9400 Lansford St. The rest took place on the street at 3300 Mechanicsville Road (June 5), which involved a handgun, 8300 Torresdale Ave. (June 6), which involved a knife, and 3800 Woodhaven Road (May 27), which did not involve a weapon.

There were 11 aggravated assaults, which resulted in six arrests. Assaults on the street took place at 10800 Knights Road (June 5, Ella D. Saunders, 30), 2700 Axe Factory Road (June 2, Siani Cruz, 18), 9200 Ashton Road (May 28), 4800 Wingate St. (June 7) and 3400 Arthur St. (June 9). Assaults at private residences took place at 12200 Sweet Briar Road (June 7), 1300 Stewards Way (May 27, Jermone Woodson, 29), 8700 Glenloch St. (June 9, Darnell Winchester, 29) and 9200 Andover Road (May 28, Joseph Cook, 49). Other assaults took place at an apartment house at 8200 Frankford Ave. (June 5, Bruce Colon-Lebron, 23) and a nursing/retirement home at 2900 Holme Ave. (May 30).

There were four burglaries. Alex Carl Rudolph, 29 was arrested June 1 following a burglary at a private residence at 3300 Lester Road. Other burglaries took place at an auto dealer at 9300 Roosevelt Blvd. (June 8), an auto parts store at 9200 Roosevelt Blvd. (May 31) and a commercial garage at 8100 Frankford Ave. (June 7).

There were 39 thefts, which targeted 20 businesses, 11 vehicles (including two stolen car phones), four street thefts, an office building, a parking lot/commercial garage, a building under construction and an unlisted location. Three arrests were made. In addition, 10 vehicles were reported stolen, three of which have been recovered.

15th Police District

There were 18 robberies. Daniel Cruz, 18, and Abdul Stewart, 18, were arrested June 9 following a robbery on the street at 1800 Wilmot St. Naree Betsill, 27, was arrested June 9 following a burglary at a drugstore at 1600 Bridge St. Robberies on the street took place at 6600 Tulip St. (May 31) and 2900 Tyson Ave. (June 6), which involved handguns, 5100 Whitaker Ave. (May 28), which involved a knife, 4100 Kensington Ave. (June 7), which involved a weapon, and 5100 Penn St. (May 28), 5000 Duffield St. (May 29), 1600 Granite St. (June 3), 4200 Kensington Ave. (June 3) and 7500 Torresdale Ave. (June 8), which did not involve weapons. Other robberies took place at retail stores at 6400 Frankford Ave. (June 5) and 6300 Torresdale Ave. (June 5), a food store at 5200 Torresdale Ave. (June 4), a mini market at 4400 Princeton Ave. (May 27), a SEPTA bus/trolley stop at 4700 Frankford Ave. (May 31), an office building at 6900 Frankford Ave. (June 7) and an apartment house at 1300 Arrott St. (May 30).

There were 18 aggravated assaults, which yielded seven arrests. Assaults on the street included a domestic assault at 4900 Friendship St. (June 1), assaults involving handguns at 5800 Penn St. (May 28), twice at 4600 Griscom St. (June 1), 1100 Bridge St. (June 1), 1300 Harrison St. (June 8) and twice at 7200 Charles St. (June 9), an assault involving a knife at 5300 Charles St. (June 7, Darryl Lloyd, 58), assaults involving other weapons at 3300 Brighton St. (June 7) and 3300 Aldine St. (June 8), an assault with no weapon at 4800 Mulberry St. (June 4) and a domestic assault at 7300 James St. (June 6). Assaults at private residences took place at 1900 Berkshire St. (May 27), 4200 Penn St. (June 2, Ayanna Johnson, 23, Lamaya A. Taylor, 26, Benjamin Teague, 25, and Brinay Wells, 24), 4500 Shelmire Ave. (June 7), 4100 Orchard St. (June 7, Christopher Gonzalez, 25) and 4300 Teesdale St. (June 9, Makis Azriel Laws, 35).

There were 18 burglaries, three of which yielded the arrest of Raheem Manley, 34. Burglaries targeted private residences at 4200 Cottman Ave. (May 29, Raheem Manley, 34), 1600 E. Cheltenham Ave. (May 31), 4600 James St. (May 29), 900 Dyre St. (May 30), 2900 Fanshawe St. (June 6), 4600 Penn St. (June 7), 3100 Saint Vincent St. (June 9), 4700 Tacony St. (May 29), 5100 Duffield St. (June 5), 1500 E. Cheltenham Ave. (June 6), 2700 Eddington St. (June 6) and 2000 Sanger St. (June 8). Burglaries at apartment houses happened at 2800 Cottman Ave. (May 29, Raheem Manley, 34), 5800 Torresdale Ave. (May 29, Raheem Manley, 34), 4800 Frankford Ave. (June 8) and 3300 Chippendale Ave. (June 3). Other burglaries took place on the street at 4900 Van Kirk St. (June 4) and a retail location at 5200 Torresdale Ave. (May 29).

There were 93 thefts, which targeted 37 vehicles (including two stolen vehicle tags), 24 businesses, 16 street thefts, eight private residences, six bicycles, an apartment house and an athletic field/rec center. Nine arrests were made. In addition, 32 vehicles were reported stolen, 20 of which have been recovered. Three arrests were made.
