Louis loves the human touch

Louis is a 1-or 2-year-old American pit bull terrier mix whose owners left him at Philadelphia’s Animal Care and Control, 111 W. Hunting Park Ave., because they traveled too much.

The dog loves people and playing with other dogs, and might be OK with cats. Adoption hours are weekdays from 1 to 8 p.m. and weekends from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information, email mkni@vet.upenn.edu ••

Cocoa is a sweetheart

Cocoa is a friendly 2-year-old male rabbit who is neutered and likes other animals and children.

The rabbit is available for adoption at the Women’s Humane Society, at 3839 Richlieu Road in Bensalem. His tag number is H36227. Adoption hours are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays and 1 to 7 p.m. on Wednesdays. Greta, the cat profiled in last week’s Times, remains available for adoption. Say Grace

Grace is a friendly and curious 7-month-old female tuxedo cat available for adoption at the Northeast Animal Rescue.

The cat is up to date on shots and spayed, and has tested negative for the feline immunodeficiency and leukemia viruses.
