Grant Avenue bank robbed

A man who presented a demand note to a teller robbed the TD Bank at 2520 Grant Ave. shortly after 9 a.m. on Oct. 2.

According to the FBI’s Philadelphia office, a white man in his late 30s received money from the teller, left the bank and fled east on Grant Avenue in a dark green, older model Ford Focus with black rims.

The man was described at 6 feet 2 inches tall and slender. He was sporting a light-colored, thick mustache and chin hair and was wearing wire-framed glasses. He was dressed in a dark jacket with a dark hooded sweatshirt underneath.
