Police are seeking a 21-year-old Cottman Avenue man in connection with an Oct. 3 fatal shooting.
Khalil Walker-Shabazz of the 3200 block of Cottman is wanted in connection with the death of 25-year-old Jerry Edwards of the 6700 block of Oakland St.
Edwards was found in the driver’s seat of a 1997 green Dodge Stratus behind homes on the 7500 block of Brous Ave. at about 5:23 a.m. on Oct. 3.
Edwards had been shot several times and was pronounced dead at the scene at 5:35 a.m., said police spokeswoman Officer Christine O’Brien.
Walker-Shabazz is considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information on his whereabouts should call the Homicide Unit at 215–686–3334 or 3335, or call 911.
