Coach says: “We have a relatively young team, one made up of bright, athletic, hardworking and extremely nice young ladies. I have great confidence in them, and this season will be exciting. I can’t wait for it to begin.”

Lincoln

Coach says: “We’ll be regrouping due to various factors, and we hope to gain experience for next year. This season will be challenging, with only two healthy returning starters.”

Frankford

Franklin Towne

Head coach: Jen Daley

Coach says: “I have an amazing group of girls. We’ve accomplished so much in my three years here, and we’re hoping to find ourselves back in that championship game this year. We would love to bring a softball trophy to Towne.”

Fels

Head coach: Mike Kauffman

Last season: 3–11

Key returners: None. Players to watch include 1B/3B Crystal Arteaga; SS Nilsa Rodriguez; P Sudaiyah Guzman; P Roseangel Peralta

Coach says: “We lost 12 seniors, so this year is about building for the future, which for most of these girls will be the next two to three years. We obviously want to be more competitive in our division. So far, I’ve seen a lot of promise and have been overall very encouraged.” ••
