Kennedy C. Crossan Elementary School recently welcomed more than two dozen people for a career day presentation for pupils.

Among those speaking to pupils on May 16 were police officers, firefighters, emergency medical technicians, nurses, cable television installers, bankers, a military member, doctor, scientist, lawyer, parole officer, pharmacist, Realtor, accountant, travel agent, dental assistant, pastor, photographer and newspaper reporter.

The day was coordinated by counselor Diane Squaresky and Nancy Ostroff, a retired teacher and Burholme resident.

Crossan is located at 7350 Bingham Street (at Beligh Avenue) in Burholme.

Principal Lynne Millard said Crossan has about 360 pupils in kindergarten through fifth grade. ••
