SVU seeks suspects in two NE incidents

The Philadelphia Police Department’s Special Victims Unit on Friday released details about two ongoing investigations in the Northeast.

On March 11, a 16-year-old girl reported that she was approached by a man in a vehicle who made lewd comments to her as she walked to school. The incident occurred at about 8:20 a.m. on the 4300 block of Penn St. in Frankford. Initially, the man pulled up alongside the girl and attempted to start a conversation. When the girl called her mother on her cell phone, the man directed lewd comments at her then drove away, police said.
