Thanks to a fine arts grant from Alpha Delta Kappa, an international honorary organization for women educators, Glen Foerd on the Delaware was able to partner with The Arts Academy at Benjamin Rush High School on a visual arts program for Rush students.

Throughout the school year, students visited Glen Foerd numerous times to find inspiration for their projects, which included paintings, photography and other media. The grant covered expenses including materials and transportation. The culmination of the project was a professional-level art exhibit that opened at Glen Foerd on April 16.

In addition, the photography students designed a coffee table book containing their work that is available for purchase. For samples of the work in the book, visit www.blurb.com/books/6103888-past-prestent-future
