Tacony motorcyclist killed while getting gas

A Tacony motorcyclist was shot and killed while refueling his bike at a Southwest Philadelphia gas station on Sunday, police say.

It happened at about 1:49 a.m. at the BP station on the 6600 block of Essington Ave. Someone called 911 to report gunfire. When police arrived, they found Robert Ostiguin, 39, of the 6600 block of Hegerman St., slumped over his motorcycle by the fueling pumps. He had multiple gunshot wounds.

Paramedics pronounced Ostiguin dead at the scene. Police have no information on the shooter or a motive. ••
