The Northeast Times provides an overview of crimes reported to the four police districts in the Northeast. The details are based on reports compiled by the Northeast Detectives division of the Philadelphia Police Department.

April 17 through 30

As reported by Northeast Detectives. Does not include homicides, sexual assaults, narcotics offenses or other specific crimes investigated by special police units. All locations listed by block, not by exact address.

2nd Police District

• There were 16 robberies reported in the district, including 13 that occurred in the street at 6400 Loretto Ave. (April 17), 6700 Castor Ave. (April 17 and 18), 1200 Faunce St. (April 18), 2500 Cottman Ave. (April 23), 6700 Large St. (April 28), 6900 Castor Ave. (April 18), 2000 Princeton Ave. (April 20), 1000 Devereaux Ave. (April 20), 7500 Summerdale Ave. (April 21), 500 Devereaux Ave. (April 23), 1500 Cottman Ave. (April 26) and 6600 Rising Sun Ave. (April 23). Robberies also occurred at two businesses at 2200 Cottman Ave. (April 28) and 2300 Cottman Ave. (April 28), as well as a residence at 1600 Borbeck Ave. (April 26).

• Five aggravated assaults were reported to police, including four that occurred in the street at 7000 Kindred St. (April 17), 5500 Hill Creek Court (April 20), 700 Magee Ave. (April 30) and Roosevelt Boulevard and Summerdale Avenue (April 28). One more case occurred at a school at 1800 Cottman Ave. (April 20).

• There were 16 burglaries during the period, 15 of which involved residences at 500 E. Hill Creek Drive (April 20), 7900 Anita Drive (April 26), 700 Hartel Ave. (April 25), 900 Faunce St. (April 25), 1200 Unruh Ave. (April 26), 500 Kerper St. (April 27), 2200 Princeton Ave. (April 28), 5300 Howland St. (April 30), 6300 Oakland St. (April 17), 7900 Barnes St. (April 17), 6300 Oxford Ave. (April 28), 1200 Magee Ave. (two on April 26), 6900 Rising Sun Ave. (April 19) and 7700 Bradford St. (April 30). One additional burglary occurred at an unspecified type of property at 7900 Verree Road (April 25).

• Among 74 thefts reported in the district, there were 10 auto thefts, three auto tag thefts and 22 thefts from autos. There also were 30 thefts at businesses, five in the street and four at residences.

7th Police District

• Four robberies were reported to police, including three that occurred in the street at 8400 Verree Road (April 17), Fox Chase Road and Loretto Avenue (April 18) and 8000 Roosevelt Blvd. (April 19). There also was a robbery at a bank at 1400 Rhawn St. (April 19).

• One aggravated assault was reported during the period. It occurred in the street at 10200 Bustleton Ave. (April 26).

• Among eight burglaries reported during the period, seven involved residences at 11600 Banes St. (April 20), 500 Larkspur St. (April 20), 10000 Jeanes St. (April 25), 13000 Blakeslee Drive (April 24), 2300 Tremont St. (April 21 and 28) and 800 Morefield Road (April 17). One more burglary occurred at a business at 1700 Grant Ave. (April 22).

• There were 25 thefts reported in the district, including three auto thefts, one auto tag theft and five thefts from autos. There were six thefts at businesses, six in the street, three at residences and one at an unspecified type of location.

8th Police District

• One robbery was reported in the district. It occurred at a residence at 3800 Violet Drive (April 18).

• Among five aggravated assaults reported during the period, two occurred in the street at 9200 Annapolis Road (April 21) and 2400 Welsh Road (April 21), while two occurred at residences at 3500 Gloucester Lane (April 29) and 4600 Kendrick St. (April 29). One more case was reported at a city prison at 8100 State Road (April 23).

• There were no burglaries reported in the district during the period.

• Thirty-seven thefts were reported to police, including four auto thefts, three auto tag thefts and eight thefts from autos. There also were 15 thefts at businesses, five in the street and two at residences.

15th Police District

• Nineteen robberies were reported in the district, including 14 that occurred in the street at 1300 Orthodox St. (April 18), 1400 Adams Ave. (April 21), 6100 Torresdale Ave. (April 23), 1700 Brill St. (April 24), Disston and Gillespie streets (April 27), 4900 Comly St. (April 27), 7000 Roosevelt Blvd. (April 23), 4800 Penn St. (April 17), 7100 Torresdale Ave. (April 20), 4700 Devereaux Ave. (April 22), 3500 Ryan Ave. (April 29), 6900 Hegerman St. (April 29), 1800 Orthodox St. (April 30) and 4400 Comly St. (April 30). More robberies occurred at four businesses at 5000 Mulberry St. (April 25), 5200 Torresdale Ave. (April 18), 7300 Frankford Ave. (April 19) and 4300 Frankford Ave. (April 30), as well as a residence at 1400 Adams Ave. (April 22).

• There were 15 aggravated assaults reported to police, eight of which occurred in the street at 2000 Anchor St. (April 18), 4800 Tackawanna St. (April 24), 7600 Rowland Ave. (April 29 and 30), 1500 Overington St. (April 23), Torresdale and Cottman avenues (April 17), 4700 Oakmont St. (April 25) and 1600 Bridge St. (April 29). Seven more cases occurred at residences at 5700 Frankford Ave. (April 25), 3200 Friendship St. (April 27), 5200 Glenloch St. (two on April 23), 4900 Cottage St. (April 17), 6100 Charles St. (April 21) and 4700 Longshore Ave. (April 26).

• Among 20 burglaries reported during the period, 16 involved residences at 6400 Edmund St. (April 17), 5000 Comly St. (April 21), 1300 Dyre St. (April 24), 1600 Fillmore St. (April 17), 1100 Herbert St. (April 20), 4500 Stiles St. (April 18), 3400 Friendship St. (April 18), 4900 Unruh Ave. (April 22), 4500 Castor Ave. (April 27), 4100 Stirling St. (April 18), 2100 Betts St. (April 21), 4300 Orchard St. (April 27), 1600 Margaret St. (April 27), 1300 Kennedy St. (April 27), 4400 Decatur St. (April 27) and 1300 Kennedy St. (April 28). Additional burglaries occurred at three businesses at 3500 Vista St. (April 28), 1800 Orthodox St. (April 22) and 2100 Margaret St. (April 28), as well as an unspecified type of property at 4400 Frankford Ave. (April 26).

• There were 139 thefts reported in the district, including 28 that occurred at businesses, 22 in the street, 12 at residences and one at a public transit facility. There also were 26 auto thefts, seven auto tag thefts and 43 thefts from autos during the period. ••
