Police have released new surveillance video of a man who allegedly used a knife and a blue bicycle to rob a dollar store in Frankford last month.

The 59-second clip shows the April 30 crime at Family Dollar, 4354 Frankford Ave. It happened shortly before 10 a.m. One video camera recorded the suspect as he stood in an aisle, removed several containers of over-the-counter medicine from a rack and stuffed them under his plaid shirt.

A second camera then recorded the suspect as he approached the exit, flashed a knife at a security guard and fled. Police said he escaped on a blue mountain bicycle southbound on Frankford Avenue. He was in the company of a second man.

Police did not release detailed descriptions of either suspect. Call 215–686-TIPS or text to PPD TIP to report information. ••
