Lincoln falls just short of state championship

The Railsplitters fell to Roman Catholic 92–80 in the 6A state championship game in Hershey on Wednesday night.

The Abraham Lincoln High School boys basketball team didn’t go quietly, but in the end, the Railsplitters fell to Roman Catholic 92–80 in the 6A state championship game in Hershey on Wednesday night.

Khalif Meares scored 28 points while Shakeir Morrison and Emeuel Charleston each added 14 for the Railsplitters.

Roman evened the season series with Lincoln with the win. The Railsplitters defeated the Cahillites in the city championship earlier in the month.
