St. Cecilia Elementary School fifth-graders recently took part in a wax museum.

Nearly 90 noteworthy figures appeared in the school auditorium.

Students stood attentively and silently until a “press me” button was stepped on and brought them to life. They perfected not only attire and props but mannerisms and dialect.

Fellow students, administration, faculty and fifth-grade parents were educated to the brief autobiographies of Pope John Paul II, Abraham Lincoln, Barack Obama, Donald Trump, Gen. George Patton, Elvis Presley, Queen Victoria, Alexander Graham Bell, Neil Armstrong, Amelia Earhart, Michael Jordan, Bob Ross, Audrey Hepburn, Grace Kelly, Judy Garland and others.

Participating students were under the guidance of teachers Maryanne Burgmann, Sharon Dale and Jacqueline Latta. ••
