Comcast recently celebrated its Comm-Tech Cooperative Education Program, an initiative open to career and technical education students within the School District of Philadelphia.

Four Swenson Arts and Technology High School students graduated through the program this year, and two former Swenson students from last year’s first graduating class are now employed at Comcast.

Principal Colette Langston joined the students at the event.

The students spend one day a week at Comcast for the entire school year. Their time is split between mentoring and several educational opportunities such as training and office safety, as well as real-life experiences, including ride-alongs with technicians and visiting facilities. ••
