State Rep. Martina White (R-170th dist.) read Right This Very Minute last week to a first-grade classroom at Loesche Elementary School, Bustleton Avenue and Tomlinson Road. Pennsylvania Farm Bureau member Jeanne Smith, a Somerton resident, arranged the visit. The book is the Farm Bureau’s Agriculture Literacy Book of the Year. While people are often hungry “right this very minute,” the book discusses what farmers are doing “right this very minute” to ensure people have safe, nutritious and delicious foods when they want them. ••
