A 43-year-old man died after being shot around midnight Saturday on Roosevelt Boulevard near Summerdale Avenue, police said.
Officers responding to the scene found Robert Beverly, of Logan, lying on the southbound outer lanes with a gunshot wound to his abdomen. He was transported to Einstein Medical Center and died at 12:22 a.m., authorities said.
Investigators are looking into whether the killing was related to a minor accident that occurred on the Boulevard involving Beverly, according to multiple media reports.
So far, no arrests have been made. Police described the suspect as a Hispanic man in his early 20s with a thin build. ••
