Emma Nicole Brown was named to the University of Alabama dean’s list for fall 2019 for having an academic record of 3.5 or above.

Helen Li was named to the dean’s list at Tufts University (Massachusetts) for the fall 2019 semester. Dean’s list honors at Tufts require a semester grade point average of 3.4 or greater.

The Assumption College (Massachusetts) Department of Athletics has announced that Ricky Zheng is a member of the institution’s first esports team.

The University of Rhode Island announced that more than 6,000 undergraduates, including Maureen Kennedy, have qualified for the fall 2019 dean’s list. To be included on the dean’s list, students must have completed 12 or more credits during a semester for letter grades with at least a 3.30 quality point average.

More than 1,770 students have been named to the fall 2019 dean’s list at Kutztown University. To be eligible for the dean’s list, an undergraduate student must be registered for at least 12 credits and have a minimum grade point average of 3.60. Mount St. Mary’s University announced that 577 students earned dean’s list honors in fall 2019. Local members of the dean’s list were Madison McLaverty and Mary Gould.

Seton Hall University announced that Emma Birney, Meredith Elliott and Lindsay Vena qualified for the fall 2019 dean’s list for their outstanding academic achievements.

Josiah Findley, a freshman mathematics major at Grove City College, has been named to the dean’s list with High Distinction (GPA of 3.85 to 4.0) for the fall 2019 semester. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Findley (Caroline).

More than 1,600 students were named to the University of Scranton dean’s list for the fall 2019 semester. The dean’s list recognizes students with a grade point average of 3.5 or better. Local members of the dean’s list are Jacquelyn R. Keddie, a sophomore nursing major; Maria Deieso, a sophomore accounting major; Stas W. Postowski, a senior marketing major; and Phoebe Thomas, a senior marketing major.

Egor Fesenko and Emily Maldonado were named to the Champlain College (Vermont) dean’s list for achieving a grade point average of 3.5 or higher in the fall 2019 semester.

Maxine Wisler was named to the dean’s list at Muhlenberg College for the fall 2019 semester. Students with a term GPA of 3.50 or higher were recognized for this academic achievement.

Jacinth Nurse and Jada Rawlinson-Carter were named to the dean’s list at Hofstra University for the fall 2019 semester. Students must earn a grade point average of at least 3.5 to make the dean’s list.

Thomas Emanoff graduated on Jan. 25 with an associate’s degree in general studies from Northampton Community College.

Theresa Reilly has been named to the dean’s list at the University of New Hampshire for earning high honors (for students with a GPA of 3.65 to 3.84) for the fall 2019 semester. Reilly is majoring in French. ••

The University of Delaware announced its dean’s list for the fall 2019 semester. To meet eligibility requirements for the dean’s list, a student must be enrolled full-time and earn a GPA of 3.5 or above (on a 4.0 scale). Local members of the dean’s list are Emily Jardel, Perri Keehfuss, Tara Cohen, Jessica Loughery, Spencer Shore, Eliza Askarova and Christopher Hope.
