Jessica Kahmar, a criminal justice major at Temple, is a winner of the Ronald E. Smallwood Scholarship Program, sponsored by the National Electrical Contractors Association. Kahmar is the daughter of Cindy Kahmar. ••

Drexel graduate Marissa Olson, who attended St. Hubert High School, was offered a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant award to work in Spain. Due to COVID-19, the program has been postponed. Olson earned a bachelor’s degree in global studies and minors in public health and Spanish, graduating on the dean’s list. ••

Allison Feinstein, who recently completed her sophomore year at Lycoming College, was named to the dean’s list. ••

Eastern Connecticut State University recently released its dean’s list for the spring 2020 semester. Among members of the dean’s list is Santiago Vallejo, who majors in communication. To qualify for the dean’s list, full-time students must complete a minimum of 12 credits in letter-graded courses during the semester. ••

Kutztown University student-athletes Casey Remolde and Megan Kirn have been named Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Scholar-Athletes for the 2019-20 academic year. To be eligible for PSAC Scholar-Athlete honors this year, a student-athlete must have finished the 2019-20 academic year with a 3.25 cumulative GPA or higher. Remolde, a St. Basil graduate, plays basketball. Kirn, an Archbishop Ryan graduate, is on the cross country and track and field teams. ••

Springfield College (Massachusetts) has named Kristian Rhim to the dean’s list for academic excellence for the 2020 spring semester. Rhim is studying communication/sport journalism. ••

Maxine Wisler was named to Muhlenberg College’s dean’s list for the spring 2020 semester. ••

Shiyang Yu was named to the dean’s list at Miami University (Ohio) for the 2019-20 spring semester. To be named to the dean’s list, Miami students must be ranked in the top 20 percent of undergraduate students within their division. Yu is majoring in Music, Marketing. ••

Bloomsburg University student-athletes Christopher Gleason and Kelley McHugh were named PSAC Scholar-Athletes. Gleason, a Father Judge graduate, is a member of the men’s swimming team. McHugh, a Little Flower graduate, is a member of the women’s swimming team. In order to earn PSAC Scholar-Athlete recognition, each student-athlete must have maintained a minimum GPA of 3.25 throughout the year. ••

Justin McMullen and Theresa Reilly have been named to the dean’s list highest honors at the University of New Hampshire for the spring 2020 semester. McMullen is majoring in Kinesiology: Sport Studies. Reilly is majoring in French. Students named to the dean’s list highest honors earned a semester grade point average of 3.85 or better out of a possible 4.0. ••

The University of Scranton announced its dean’s list for the 2020 spring semester. The dean’s list recognizes students for academic excellence. A student must have a grade point average of 3.5 or better. Local students on the list are: Ava R. Brakoniecki, a freshman physiology major; Kristin J. Green, a senior biology major; Molly A. Boyd, a freshman nursing major; Jessica K. Hackney, a freshman occupational therapy major; Jacquelyn R. Keddie, a sophomore nursing major; Brigid S. McMullen, a senior occupational therapy major; Maria Deieso, a junior accounting major; Stas W. Postowski, a senior marketing major; and Phoebe Thomas, a senior marketing major. ••

More than 2,300 undergraduate students at Coastal Carolina University were named to the dean’s list for the spring 2020 semester, including Lindsay Erwin, a finance major, and Juliet Tomasco, an early childhood education major. ••

Mount St. Mary’s University announced that 705 students earned dean’s list honors in spring 2020. Local honorees were Mary Gould, Madison McLaverty and Sophia Vargas. ••
