Homicide detectives are investigating the Wednesday night killing of a woman in Fox Chase.
Police responded at about 6:44 p.m. to the 900 block of Hartel Ave. for an emergency 911 call for a person with a gun.
A 52-year-old Hispanic female suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the body. She was transported by police to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital, where she was pronounced dead at 9:42 p.m.
The victim was identified as Gladys Coriano. No arrest was made, and no weapon recovered. ••
