Eric Mieu has been named to the Central Penn College dean’s list for the spring 2021 term. Mieu is majoring in physical therapist assistant. To qualify for the designation, an undergraduate student must carry six or more credits and earn a grade-point average of 3.5 or better for the term. ••

Five local students at Kutztown were named Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Scholar-Athletes, finishing the 2020-21 academic year with a 3.25 cumulative GPA or higher. Scholar-athletes were Colin Kelly, a baseball player from Father Judge; Casey Remolde, a basketball player from St. Basil; Anastasia Fratanduono, a cross country and track runner from Archbishop Ryan; Megan Kirn, a javelin thrower from Ryan; and Haleigh Cattalo, a softball player from Ryan. ••

Stephanie Ye was named to the dean’s list at Rochester Institute of Technology for the 2021 spring semester. Ye is in the microelectronic engineering program. ••

Ana Kola, class of 2021, achieved dean’s list status for the spring semester at Bucknell University. A student must earn a grade point average of 3.5 or higher on a scale of 4.0 to receive dean’s list recognition. ••

Kutztown University has conferred degrees for more than 1,300 students for the 2021 spring semester. The following local students have been awarded degrees: Marshae Vanessa (criminal justice, social work); Nichole E. Beyer (information technology), Kylie Guinan (biology/allied health), Justin Isaiah Harris (information technology), Megan Kirn (criminal justice), Charlotte Nicole Monacelli (psychology), Alan Roy (psychology), Sydney E. Studley (communication design), Richman Mathis II (Education Doctorate in Transformational Teaching and Learning). ••
