Muller Anderson is a 1968 graduate of St. Hubert. She comes from a long line of St. Hubert alumnae, including her mother, four aunts and two sisters. During her four years at St. Hubert, she played bass fiddle for the orchestra.

Muller Anderson is the owner of her own construction company, SJA Construction Inc., which specializes in road construction projects and is a supplier of ready mix concrete. Jim Anderson is a graduate of Father Judge and is the owner of James J. Anderson Construction Company Inc., a contractor that specializes in heavy highway and airport construction.

The Susan Muller Anderson ′68 Performing Arts Center will include a renovated auditorium with modernized seating for 840 people, new flooring, an updated lighting and sound system, new curtains and staging. Once completed, The Susan Muller Anderson ′68 Performing Arts Center will be utilized to spotlight St. Hubert’s students in the school’s annual musicals. It will also serve as a place for students to gather for worship and to meet as a school community. In addition, The Susan Muller Anderson ′68 Performing Arts Center will be available for local businesses to rent for meetings and performances.

Muller Anderson said, “Our family comes from a long legacy of women attending St. Hubert in the Northeast of Philadelphia. Professionally my husband and I have businesses that work and support directly the Northeast and its infrastructure. We feel it is important to give back to the education and arts in the neighborhood. This helps the next generation of leaders find their way to a bright future. We are so happy to see St. Hubert is growing and thriving.”

Dr. Lizanne Pando, president of St. Hubert, said, “The Susan Muller Anderson ′68 Performing Arts Center will be a state-of-the-art facility that will enhance St. Hubert’s Art and Design Academy curriculum. We have seen our enrollment grow 18% in the past year with the addition of the Connelly Arts and Design Center. The Susan Muller Anderson ′68 Performing Arts Center will offer our students numerous opportunities to shine in their talents on their academic journey to becoming women of faith and integrity.” ••
