When police arrived at the scene, paramedics were treating Aldworth for four broken ribs, a concussion and multiple facial cuts that required stitches to close. The investigators learned that the victim was followed into his garage by a black man in a black and white striped shirt. The suspect beat the victim and stole his wallet containing cash and credit cards, as well as his cell phone.

After about 15 minutes, the robber fled on foot westbound on Decatur toward Frankford Avenue. He was further described as tall, thin, in his 30s, with facial hair, long pants and blue sneakers. Call 215–686-TIPS or text to PPD TIP to report information. ••
