The Friends of Pennypack Park invite volunteers to participate in the first monthly park cleanup of the 2014 season on Saturday, March 22, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Volunteers will meet at the ballfield on Holme Avenue behind Nazareth Hospital and canvas the area for litter and debris.
Volunteers should wear long pants, long sleeves and comfortable, closed-toe shoes for safety and comfort. Volunteers under age 18 must be accompanied by an adult. In case of inclement weather and for other information, call 215–934-PARK. ••
