American Legion Playground, at 6201 Torresdale Ave. in Wissinoming, will host “Plop for the Pools” this Saturday at 2 p.m.
The public is invited to enter the cow chip bingo contest. When the cow makes a dropping, the individual who has selected that particular space wins a cash prize.

The event will raise money to keep all 70 of the city’s outdoor pools open this summer. Last year, more than $25,000 was raised.
Other activities include face painting, a Moonbounce and a dunk tank.
