Police seek help in finding Rite-Aid robber

Philadelphia police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a masked gunman who robbed the Rite Aid pharmacy on the 6400 block of Oxford Ave. on Aug. 3.

The heist occurred at 2:16 a.m. when the bandit burst into the store, pointed a silver handgun at two clerks and demanded cash from the register.

The employees gave him about $250. The suspect then fled.

No injuries were reported.

The robber is described as black, 5 feet 8 inches tall and 150 pounds.

His age is unknown.

He had a white sleeveless T-shirt wrapped over part of his face and wore light blue jeans.

Call Northeast Detectives at 215–686–3153 to report information about the robbery. ••
