Benefit will aid family of teen struck by car

Katie O’Donnell’s and the Fraternal Order of Police will host a benefit for the family of Timmy Connors on Sunday, Sept. 18, from 2 to 6 p.m.

The event will be held at O’Donnell’s, 4501 Woodhaven Road.

Connors, a 15-year-old freshman at Archbishop Ryan High School, was struck and killed by a car on May 17 as he crossed Academy Road in front of the school.

During the benefit, there will be clowns, face-painting, cotton candy, burgers and hotdogs, soft drinks and draft beer. A Chinese auction also will be held during the picnic.

Tickets are $25 for adults and $15 for children under 18. For information, call O’Donnell’s at 215–637–5151. ••
