Haldeman Ave. bank robbed

Philadelphia police and the FBI seek the public’s help in identifying two men who robbed a Bustleton bank at gunpoint last month. They also are suspects in a suburban bank robbery.

On Aug. 20, the men entered the TD Bank at 9996 Haldeman Ave. armed with handguns and demanded money from a teller. Authorities did not say what time the heist occurred.

The teller gave an undisclosed amount of cash to the men, who ran away in an unknown direction.

Both robbers are considered armed and dangerous. Both are described as black, in their mid- to late 20s, about 5 feet 9 inches tall and a medium build. One of the men had a goatee.

Police have released surveillance photos of both men.

It is believed that they also robbed the TD Bank at 1240 Bethlehem Pike in Flourtown on Aug. 24.

Call 911 to report the location of the suspects or call 215–686-TIPS to report information about their identities. ••
