CORA Services will host own antiques-appraisal clinic

As seen on TV. Sorta.

CORA Services, at 8540 Verree Road in Fox Chase, will conduct its own version of Antiques Road Show this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

CORA’s first appraisal clinic will star local auctioneer and appraiser Barry Slosberg, who just might find a treasure in the items he examines.

There is a fee of $6 per item (or two for $10), with each person limited to two. Books, weapons, sports memorabilia and coins will not be appraised.

Slosberg also will give a lecture on appraisals and a discussion of current market conditions.

The appraisal clinic is a bonus for those attending CORA’s 28th annual real estate seminar, which will be conducted by Slosberg and CORA board member Bill Becker. This year’s interactive presentation will focus on buying properties at auctions.

Admission is $45 ($55 at the door). Call 1–856–489–8900 to reserve a seat. Reservations are on a first-come-first-serve basis. Checks, money orders and credit cards accepted. Call 215–342–7660 for more information. ••
