One bank job apparently wasn’t enough for the unknown man who robbed a TD Bank branch at Grant and the Boulevard on Dec. 26.
Philadelphia police believe that the same man struck again three days later at another TD branch in the Northeast.
The Dec. 29 heist occurred at about 5:50 p.m. at Woodhaven and Knights roads. The robber presented a teller with a threatening demand note and made off with an undisclosed amount of cash, fleeing on foot northwest through the parking lot.
A red dye pack mixed among the stolen cash may have burst, staining the robber, his clothing and the money with ink, police said.
Surveillance cameras in the Woodhaven Road branch filmed the man’s face clearly. He is described as Hispanic, 30 years old, 5 feet 2 inches or 5 feet 3 inches tall and with a medium build. He has a moustache and wore a gray hoodie with blue jeans.
