Have you seen burglary suspect?

Joseph MacWilliams, 18

Police are searching for an accused burglar who allegedly fled a Northeast juvenile detention facility last month.

Joseph MacWilliams, 18, “walked away” from The Bridge, at 8400 Pine Road in Fox Chase, on Jan. 2 and has not been seen since, according to Sgt. Dennis Rosenbaum of Northeast Detectives.

On Dec. 4, MacWilliams, of the 6800 block of Rutland St. in Castor Gardens, was arrested allegedly inside a home on the 300 block of E. Cheltenham Ave. while committing a residential burglary. He was 17 at the time. A Family Court judge later committed him to the juvenile facility.

MacWilliams was described as 5 feet 4 inches tall and 120 pounds, with tattoos on both forearms and his chest, including flames rising to his neckline.

He may also frequent the area of 7200 Saul St.

To report information about MacWilliams, call Sgt. Rosenbaum at 215–686–3153. ••
