Authorities have identified the body of a man found on Friday morning lying in a Holmesburg street with a fatal gunshot wound of the back.
Police were called to the 3500 block of Arthur St. at 4:57 a.m. and discovered the body of Daniel Knab, 28. Knab, of the 3100 block of Robbins Ave., was pronounced dead at the scene at 5:04 a.m.
No arrests have been made and a motive is not known, a police spokeswoman said. No suspects were named. ••
