The 3-year-old cat has blue eyes and is super sweet and mellow. He was found abandoned and very scared and dirty.

Biffles is now clean and healthy, and in foster care via the Animal Care and Control team. He wouldn’t do well with dogs, but would be fine with older children and another gentle cat.

The cat is neutered, micro-chipped and vaccinated, and has tested negative for the feline leukemia and immunodeficiency viruses.

Anyone interested in adopting Biffles can e-mail fosterkats@aol.com ••

Sunny will brighten your life

Sunny is a medium-sized, 44-pound terrier/pit bull mix who is available for adoption at Philadelphia’s Animal Care and Control, at 111 W. Hunting Park Ave. His tag number is A15505097.

The dog is handsome and has beautiful eyes and cute white front paws. He interacts well with other dogs, and plays and takes treats well.

Before being adopted, he’d like to meet any children under 10.

Adoption hours are weekdays from 1 to 8 p.m. and weekends from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. ••

Alice wants to be rescued

Alice and her kittens were rescued from the streets of Philadelphia.

While the kittens have all found permanent homes, Alice is still looking to be adopted.

Alice is a sweet, calm, 2½-year-old calico cat with big green eyes who is happy by herself or with other cats.

The cat is spayed and up to date on vaccinations, and has tested negative for the feline immunodeficiency and leukemia viruses.

To adopt Alice, fill out an application at http://nar.rescuegroups.org/animals/detail?AnimalID=3294938 or visit PetSmart at 11000 Roosevelt Blvd. ••
