Man shot and killed in Far NE

Philadelphia police are trying to figure out who shot and killed a Parkwood man early last week and why.

David Cintron, 41, of the 3100 block of Morning Glory Road, was pronounced dead at Aria Health-Torresdale at 1:53 a.m. on April 16. He had been shot once in the back.

Fire paramedics found the wounded Cintron on the 4200 block of Woodhaven Road shortly after midnight and rushed him to the hospital while notifying police.

The police department did not disclose how authorities were notified of the wounded man. There are no suspects or known motives in the shooting.
