The public is invited to join Mayor Michael Nutter at next week’s grand reopening of Burholme Golf & Family Entertainment, at 401 Cottman Ave.
The facility features a newly restored driving range with 63 stalls in lower and upper decks. Some of the stalls are heated and covered.
In addition, there is an 18-hole miniature golf course, golf lessons, six baseball and softball batting cages, a snack bar and picnic area.
The grand reopening celebration starts at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, July 18. Nutter will be joined by Michael DiBerardinis, commissioner of the Department of Parks and Recreation.
The parks and recreation department oversees the concession, which is available for parties and special events.
A portion of the proceeds benefits the Fairmount Park Conservancy.
