Coco’s owner was no longer able to care for him, so the dog is now a resident of Philadelphia’s Animal Care and Control, at 111 W. Hunting Park Ave. The tag number is 16296205.
Coco is a mostly brown, medium-sized, 3- to 5-year-old terrier/pit bull mix. The dog is spayed and enjoys being outside, going for walks and being in the company of humans.
Adoption hours are weekdays from 1 to 8 p.m. and weekends from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. ••
Summer love
Summer is a 4-month-old sunny-orange tabby kitten who is in foster care via Forgotten Cats.
The cat is very friendly and sweet, loves attention and gets along well with other cats. He is neutered and vaccinated, and has tested negative for the feline leukemia and immunodeficiency viruses.

Nacho is a cute 6-year-old cat ready for a new home.
The cat is available for adoption at the Women’s Humane Society, at 3839 Richlieu Road in Bensalem. The tag number is 1941.
Adoption hours are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays and 1 to 7 p.m. on Wednesdays.
The $20 adoption fee for cats will be waived through the end of August.

Edie’s on the road to love
Edie was 3 weeks old when she was discovered inside a car that was bought at auction two days prior.
Luckily, she was able to survive having been separated from her mom at such a young age.
Volunteers with Northeast Animal Rescue bottle-fed Edie until she was able to eat on her own. Now, she is healthy and strong and ready for a permanent home. She gets along well with other cats and dogs.
Edie is spayed and vaccinated, and has tested negative for the feline immunodeficiency and leukemia viruses.
