Suspect in ID theft at large

Philadelphia police have released a photograph of an identity thief who allegedly racked up $73,100 in unauthorized debit card charges on a Northeast man’s bank account.

The 57-year-old victim reported that an unknown man gained access to his bank information and obtained newly issued debit cards in the victim’s name. Starting on June 11, the suspect used the debit cards to make hundreds of purchases at retail stores in the area, including Walmart, Target, Home Depot and Office Max, as well as the U.S Postal Service.
