‘Broadway Sings’ returns Labor Day

The public is invited to spend Labor Day at Congregations of Ner Zedek, where Broadway Sings will once again offer a benefit concert.

The concert starts on Monday at 1:30 p.m. Ner Zedek is located at 7520 Bustleton Ave. in Rhawnhurst.

The Broadway Sings concert production will be coming to the synagogue for the seventh time. The performers are current and former stars of Broadway hit shows.

The crowd will hear tunes from shows such as The Producers, Les Miserables, Rent, Mamma Mia!, The Phantom of the Opera, Cats, Beauty and the Beast, Jekyll & Hyde, Chicago: The Musical and Wicked.

Tickets cost $36. The price is $100 for two tickets and a post-concert reception, or $200 for four tickets and the reception. Tickets are available at the door or in advance. Call the synagogue office at 215–728–1155 or Jack Belitsky at 215–725–2912.

In other Ner Zedek news, the synagogue will honor Rabbi Reuben Israel Abraham on Sept. 8 in recognition of his retirement from the U.S. Navy. ••
