Charlie says, rescue me
Charlie was rescued from an animal shelter when he was 6 months old and has grown up in foster care.
The 4-year-old cat is looking for a permanent home. He has a condition that stiffens his back legs when he walks.
Charlie is a happy cat who loves to play laser pointer and chase miniature tennis balls with a bell inside.
The cat is neutered, microchipped and current on vaccinations, and has tested negative for the feline immunodeficiency and leukemia viruses.

Lanie is lovely
Lanie is an adult, medium size, terrier/pit bull mix with the cutest brown patch on one of her eyes. She is at Philadelphia’s Animal Care and Control, at 111 W. Hunting Park Ave.
She is thin, and when found as a stray she was so badly flea infested that she had some hair loss. The good news is she has been treated and her hair is growing back.
Lanie loves attention and getting petted, and she does well on the lead. She met some dogs at the shelter and would jump on them, but she remained loose and playful, so she can live with other dogs.
Adoption hours are weekdays from 1 to 8 p.m. and weekends from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Lanie’s tag number is A16736383. ••
