Office Max donates $3,000 in school supplies to middle school teacher

Office Max recently donated school supplies worth almost $3,000 to Warren G. Harding Middle School teacher Kate Weldon.

The teacher had been nominated for the A Day Made Better contest (http://www.adaymadebetter.com) last year and was selected from a pool of more than 80 deserving nominees, said Michael Calderone, Harding’s principal.

Store manager Silvaro Rojas and his team from the Office Max at Cottman Avenue and Roosevelt Boulevard visited Harding on Oct. 2 to surprise Weldon and her class with the new supplies. ••
