A 65-year-old man carrying more than $800 in cash became a strong-arm robbery victim on Oct. 30 at a Wissinoming gas station.
Philadelphia police are looking for the crook.
The crime occurred at 4:20 p.m. inside the Exxon station at 5250 Torresdale Ave. As the victim stood at the service counter counting his money, another patron grabbed him from behind and tried to snatch the cash, police said.
The victim resisted, but the robber wrestled him to the ground and fled with $820 cash. He was last seen leaving the scene on a bicycle.
The robber was described as a black man, 30 to 40 years old, with a medium complexion, a moustache and a beard. He wore a black Flyers cap, a dark blue coat, a gray hoodie and blue jeans.
