The cat has had both eyes removed due to severe infection, but that doesn’t stop her from playing with her favorite toys or attempting to chase the dog in her foster home. She likes a warm bed and a full food dish.

Remy has tested positive for the feline immunodeficiency virus. She will need regular veterinary care and prompt attention if an illness arises.

The cat is spayed, microchipped and current on vaccinations, and has tested negative for the feline leukemia virus.

Seymour, the cat profiled in last week’s Times, has been adopted. To adopt Remy, fill out an application athttp://nar.rescuegroups.org/animals/detail?AnimalID=5092004 ••

Finding Nemo a home is crucial

Poor Nemo has been in foster care for a year and really needs a home. He has been with Forgotten Cats since being dumped by his owner at a Wawa store.

The adorable orange and white tabby cat waited faithfully for two months by the road for his owner to return. He is 3 years old and declawed. He loves attention and pampering.

Nemo can live with dogs but not other cats. He is neutered and vaccinated, and has tested negative for the feline leukemia and immunodeficiency viruses.

To apply to adopt Nemo, visit www.petfinder.com/shelters/PA586.html or go to the PetSmart at 901 Old York Road in Jenkintown. ••
