Suspect sought in 7–11 robbery

Philadelphia police are trying to identify a robber who stole $280 cash from a Far Northeast 7-Eleven at gunpoint on Nov. 1.

The unknown man entered the 7-Eleven store at 9901 Frankford Ave. at 6:20 a.m. and asked the cashier for a pack of cigarettes. When the employee turned to get the cigarettes, the suspect pulled a gun and demanded money.

The robber took $280 from a cash register drawer and fled the store in an unknown direction, police said.

He was described as white, 26 or 27 years old, 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 8 inches tall and 140 to 145 pounds. He wore a black jacket with a gray hooded sweat shirt underneath and black gloves.
