The Fox-Rok Ravens won a national football championship earlier this month in Florida.
The Fox-Rok Ravens captured the American Youth Football National Division I Cadet championship earlier this month in Florida.
The Ravens, who are based out of Lackman Playground in Bustleton, qualified for the championship tournament by winning the Big East Regional title game last month in Brooklyn.
The eight-team national tournament took place at Austin-Tindall Regional Park in Kissimmee, Fla.
The Ravens defeated the Manassas Mutiny (Va.), 32–12, in their first game. Next, they topped the Desert Highlands Jaguars Black (Ariz), 32–13.
In the championship game, they edged the Prince George’s Storm (Md.), 8–7. Davon Arrington ran for a touchdown. Antonio Ditri followed with the 2-point kick. Antonio made all nine of his kicks in the tournament.
