Wissinoming man shot and killed in his apartment

Philadelphia police have no suspects and no known motive in the fatal shooting of a Wissinoming man inside his apartment last Wednesday.

Gunfire erupted shortly before 10 p.m. inside a multi-unit dwelling on the 5700 block of Cottage St. Police found Khiry Harris, 23, with multiple wounds of the torso. Paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene a short time later, said Officer Jillian Russell, a police department spokeswoman.

The police department released no information about possible witnesses to the shooting. ••
