Philadelphia police hope that a surveillance video will help them identify a man who robbed a Bustleton Dairy Queen on Valentine’s Day.
The crime occurred at 8:40 p.m. at 1619 Grant Ave. when the man approached a cashier, stated he had a gun and demanded money, police said. The robber took an undisclosed amount of money and fled on foot.
Surveillance video shows that other patrons were inside the frozen dessert shop at the time, but police identified no additional victims. No injuries were reported.
The robber was described as white, 20 to 25 years old, about 5 feet 6 inches tall with a medium build. He wore a camouflage baseball-style cap, a tan hooded sweatshirt, a brown jacket and a black bandana around his neck.
