On camera: A surveillance shot of one suspect
Police seek the public’s help in identifying three men who robbed a Mayfair convenience store on March 3.
Shortly after 3 a.m., three conspirators approached the 7-Eleven at 3301 Tyson Ave. One accomplice stayed outside as a lookout, while the other two entered the store and demanded cash and cigarettes from a clerk, police said. One robber indicated that he had a gun and the other handed the clerk a backpack, which the clerk filled with $140 cash and several packs of cigarettes.
The three robbers then fled on foot west on Tyson Avenue. One is a white man, about 20 years old, 5 feet 6 inches tall and 140 pounds. He wore a black “Nike” brand hoodie, blue track pants and black gloves.
A second robber is a white or Hispanic man, about 20 years old, 5 feet 8 inches tall and 130 pounds. He wore a mask over the lower part of his face, a black hoodie, blue jeans and black gloves. He carried a black book bag.
Police did not release a description of the lookout.
