In an effort to ensure public safety, the Philadelphia Police Department announced on Friday that it will be conducting DUI checkpoints at various locations throughout the city on weekends through October.
The checkpoint program began last weekend. Moving forward, the police department will set up checkpoints on selected Friday and Saturday nights, from 10 a.m. to 4 a.m. ••
