A masked man armed with a small silver handgun robbed a Mayfair bank May 15, police said.
The robber, who covered his face with a light blue or gray bandana, entered the PNC bank on the 6800 block of Frankford Ave. at 10:08 a.m., authorities said.

There were no customers in the bank at the time of the robbery, and no bank employees were harmed.
The robber was described as black or Hispanic with a light complexion and in his 20s. He had a medium build and stood 5 feet 7 inches to 5 feet 9 inches tall.
He wore a dark blue hooded sweatshirt with a Notre Dame “Fighting Irish” logo on the front, dark-colored pants and black gloves.
