Construction forces northbound 95 lanes to close late Thursday and early Friday

Contractors for the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation will close northbound lanes of Interstate 95 between Bridge Street and Cottman Avenue on Thursday night and early Friday for storm inlet adjustments in the Cottman Avenue Interchange work zone.

Crews will close one of the three northbound lanes at 8 p.m., followed by the closing of a second lane at midnight. The lanes will reopen at 5 a.m.

The work is part of the $212.3 million project to rebuild and improve 1.4 miles of I-95 and the Cottman Avenue Interchange. Crews are reconstructing and widening I-95 between Bleigh Avenue and Levick Street. Visit www.95revive.com for information. ••
